I drove from Delaware to Maryland to try Sha’s Organic Skin Care & MedSpa with a Groupon I purchased — and let me tell you, I was NOT ready for what I walked into. The place is so welcoming it almost hugs you when you step inside. The vibe? The ambience? Chef’s kiss. The first person I met was a gorgeous African American woman at the front desk with a smile big enough to light up the whole lobby. Her personality was even bigger. Warm, friendly, helpful — like greeting an old friend you haven’t seen in years. My drive made me a little late, but they still accommodated me and made me feel important, like my experience mattered. Then I met the owner/founder. Listen… She is pure “mama love in a bottle.” Her calming nature, honest dialogue, and nurturing presence instantly make you feel like part of the tribe. She could probably convince me to wear shorts in a blizzard. Her energy alone is worth the drive. I had Restylane filler done, and the injector was phenomenal — patient, gentle, and always checking on my comfort. She didn’t promise pain‑free, but she made it as close as possible, and I appreciated her honesty. My only suggestion? A printed after‑care card or small brochure explaining what to expect after injections and what signs to look out for. I’m winging it, and while I’m fine, that little detail could elevate the experience even more. Because of my background working for the DoD, I naturally notice details others might overlook. One front desk staffer, unfortunately, wasn’t very pleasant — eye‑rolling, interrupting conversations, and not welcoming at all. She didn’t greet my friend who came in to explore potential services, and for a first‑time visitor, that’s not the best impression. It didn’t affect my overall experience, but it’s worth noting. I had such a wonderful experience here today! The staff was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. They took the time to educate me throughout the process, answer all of my questions, and make sure I felt comfortable and confident about the procedure. It’s very clear that they truly care about their clients and take pride in what they do.

There was a little bit of a wait during my visit, but honestly, the way they handled it made all the difference. They were extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to make up for the inconvenience, which I really appreciated.

And I have to give a special shout-out to the owner, Sha. She was absolutely wonderful—so kind, welcoming, generous, and genuinely caring. You can tell when someone truly loves what they do and cares about the people who walk through their doors, and that definitely came across in my experience.

I feel very relaxed and renewed after a full body massage with Frank. Frank was there at the door awaiting my arrival as I entered Sha’s. Frank’s massage technique was very gentle which really makes a difference as I’ve had other masseuses ego apply too much pressure and I’m aching afterwards. Frank’s massage was delightful.

The staff was very welcoming as well and the atmosphere is very calming and relaxing so I knew that the actual massage was going to be great. Thankfully, I didn’t have any trouble areas, however, I’m feeling refreshed and ready for a day of dill dallying.

The front desk lady with the long hair who assisted me today was so sweet, pleasant, and helpful! She was wonderful from the moment I walked in.

But the real star of the show was Nurse Practitioner Kate Sparveri, who did my injections! Words honestly can’t express how amazing she was. She is incredibly skilled at what she does borderline magician, haha! 🪄

I really appreciated how much time she spent with me to make sure everything was symmetrical and that we used just the right amount without going overboard. She was so meticulous and genuinely cared about making sure everything looked natural and balanced. She also numbs extremely well, so I experienced barely any pain or discomfort during the injections.

I have used Sha Creation products for YEARS. production quality has always been high quality. Lotions + soaps scents are long lasting and leave your skin feeling soft and silky. I particularly love the aloe soap, turmeric soaps and the soaps infused with the loofahs, which I find are good for a simple yet effective exfoliation.

The skincare lines have something for every one. As my skin began to show signs of aging I started using more of the anti aging products like retinol night cream, watermelon toner sprays and 24k gold amino acid soaps and collagen peptide serums.

More recently I’ve been getting my GLP1 treatments from Sha’s med spa. It’s a super easy process and I received my shots with no issues. I am starting month 2 and I am LOVING the results!

I originally discovered Shah’s Organic through a Groupon deal, and I haven’t looked anywhere else since. What started as a great deal turned into finding a place I’ll continue coming back to because of the incredible people and exceptional care.

The entire office has a genuine family atmosphere, and it shows in every interaction. Nurse Katherine is a true aesthetic artist with an amazing eye for detail. She takes the time to listen to your goals, honestly discusses any areas of concern, and creates a thoughtful treatment plan tailored to you. Her bedside manner is exceptional. She is warm, friendly, patient, and incredibly easy to talk to. You never feel rushed during your appointment. I was once late for an appointment, and even though there were other patients scheduled after me, she never made me feel hurried. She remained gentle, attentive, and took the time to ensure everything was done with care.

The owner is equally wonderful. She personally greets clients with genuine warmth and hospitality, making everyone feel welcome and valued. It’s clear that creating a positive experience for every client is a priority, and she truly goes above and beyond.

This is, without question, one of the best Groupon finds I have ever made. I have purchased many Groupon deals over the years that ended up being one-time visits, but Shah’s Organic was different. They earned my trust from my very first appointment and have gained a loyal customer.

Bought 2 Groupons for Daxxify treatment, but after driving for almost 2 hours to my appointment they were out of Daxxify due to clients before me deciding to switch their Botox treatment for Daxxify. I was a bit upset and was ready to leave without treatment but Sha was very understanding and pleasant. She immediately offered a free treatment of 40 units of a new toxin from Korea ( Letybo) for the eye area ( crows feet) and the " 11" area. I am very resistant to Botox, had it applied twice in the past with no results at all. Daxxify however works!:)
Long story short I agreed to the "Letybo trial" just to see whether it works. That was 8 days ago and I will wait a bit longer, but so far very very little results. Thanks again to Sha and her very pleasant team ( Katherine who injected is amazing!!!). I will stick to the toxin that works for me ( Daxxify), but a bit closer to home;)...more

I came here to get Botox for the first time, obviously I was pretty anxious but also excited. The lady at the front desk was very warm and welcoming. I never caught her name, however she was darkskinned and wearing all black. I thought she was very sweet, and she expressed how it was her first day. Speaking with her as soon as I walked in definitely put me at ease.

I will say, there were interactions between me and the owner of the store that felt a little off to me. The energy just came off as passive-aggressive. It didn’t ruin my experience, but it stood out enough for me to mention.

The nurse who did my Botox, I believe her name was Kate. (She has blonde, wavy hair.) She was amazing. I think she noticed I had trouble explaining exactly what I wanted, but she put it into words so well for me. I even told her I had a fear of needles. She was so transparent about the whole process which really helped. She literally talked me through every step, LOL. It helped me so much especially with all the questions I had. She was very informative, comforting, and her personality was bright and fun!

FALSE ADVERTISING // UPDATE

Initial Review:
"So I purchased six session for skin tightening through GROUPON. There is false advertising (attached picture) because the Groupon says they use the Venus versa technology but the machine they used is totally different; is one you can easily get somewhere else. The technology advertised on Groupon is not close to effective to what I was treated with. Now the girl was very nice with me I know is not her fault. I doubt now whether or not everything else is scam.
See the attached pictures of what a Venus versa is in comparison to what they gave me."

Sha’s energy and spirit are so positive and warm. She’s like that favorite auntie you love to visit. And she knows so much about healing and wellness. I adore Sha’s skincare (especially glutathione soap and cream). the soap, serum, and moisturizer are all working together - I have a glow. (Please note I have a very clean diet due to a serious disease diagnosis last year — in my experience topical applications did not correct the damage done from poor diet. That said, I always had sensitive acne prone skin and Sha’s products have not caused any issues plus I love that it’s clean organic nontoxic.) i do wish it was more quiet when I’m receiving the lymphatic massage - you can hear “hallway” conversations because there are cubicle partitions and not rooms with doors. I recommend clients bring earplugs and eye mask if you want to get into the ultrarelaxed spa zone. Or perhaps they will add white noise machines to the spa rooms....more
