I drove from Delaware to Maryland to try Sha’s Organic Skin Care & MedSpa with a Groupon I purchased — and let me tell you, I was NOT ready for what I walked into. The place is so welcoming it almost hugs you when you step inside. The vibe? The ambience? Chef’s kiss. The first person I met was a gorgeous African American woman at the front desk with a smile big enough to light up the whole lobby. Her personality was even bigger. Warm, friendly, helpful — like greeting an old friend you haven’t seen in years. My drive made me a little late, but they still accommodated me and made me feel important, like my experience mattered. Then I met the owner/founder. Listen… She is pure “mama love in a bottle.” Her calming nature, honest dialogue, and nurturing presence instantly make you feel like part of the tribe. She could probably convince me to wear shorts in a blizzard. Her energy alone is worth the drive. I had Restylane filler done, and the injector was phenomenal — patient, gentle, and always checking on my comfort. She didn’t promise pain‑free, but she made it as close as possible, and I appreciated her honesty. My only suggestion? A printed after‑care card or small brochure explaining what to expect after injections and what signs to look out for. I’m winging it, and while I’m fine, that little detail could elevate the experience even more. Because of my background working for the DoD, I naturally notice details others might overlook. One front desk staffer, unfortunately, wasn’t very pleasant — eye‑rolling, interrupting conversations, and not welcoming at all. She didn’t greet my friend who came in to explore potential services, and for a first‑time visitor, that’s not the best impression. It didn’t affect my overall experience, but it’s worth noting.
